Pillars, the novel

I have recently finished my first full-length novel, Pillars. This book is part of a trilogy; I’m currently writing the second, with a detailed outline of the third. My novel evolved from a character I really enjoyed developing. Maybe Madeline is a better, stronger version of myself with a little magic, or in her case, a lot of magic. She is the heroine in a wheelchair that speaks to me.

The main narrative travels thru time and has epic battles between good and evil. But the heart of the story is the characters. Finding true love and friendship that can survive almost any tragedy. No matter your personal demons or conflict. I find myself rooting for Madeline, whether she is fighting with a dragon or trying to figure out how to be married and feel normal in a world that she doesn’t quite fit in. This is just one multifaceted character that I think readers will be curious about and want to become friends with.
